“How to Bend Concrete in 108 Easy Steps” by Mahesh Madhav

Documentary films about art and artworks are usually just a boring reproduction of the process. In the case of this short film called “How to Bend Concrete in 108 Easy Steps” by Mahesh Madhav what surprised us was not only the very useful content, showcasing all the ways to use a material that is not as diffused as many others, but also the insight in the process of an artist, the possibility to enter his mind, his inner questions, in order to really understand the transformation he is able to impose to the material by bending it.

The result is a very interesting and entertaining short film about the life and work of an innovative artists that becomes an innovative films due to the rarity of its content and to the depth of its protagonist.

We really enjoyed this window in the life of somebody that has still the courage to experiment new ways of doing art, like Picasso did his whole life.
