17 Feb “Briana Andrews (HU Student – Director’s Cut)” by Richard Schertzer
With great director dynamism and a particular sensitivity for narration, this short documentary by Richard Schertzer proves illuminating. In its discreet role of sincere and informal story, the film collects a precious and incredibly exciting testimony. Thanks to the cinematographic style, the documentary becomes almost a dialogue between the protagonist and the spectator, in which we experience firsthand the story of a young and promising professional, questioned about the past and future. This cross-section of daily life therefore hides a much wider meaning, becoming a document with a strong social impact. An entire generation seems to express itself through a single individual, a girl, who in the space of the film becomes the voice of the hopes and concerns of the humans of tomorrow.
