02 Gen «Silver & Gold: Caper 3- The Brilliance Meijin Affair» by Alonge Hawes
Blue Collar Hustle author Alonge Hawes returns to serial storytelling with the long-awaited series Silver & Gold. Available Oct. 11 on the dedicated Roku Channel and released weekly, Silver & Gold combines the daily challenges of a gang of wily thieves with the complicated romantic entanglements beloved by the millennial generation.
The bandits seem to get away with it gracefully, but when the spiral of crime seems to get out of hand, protagonists Charles and Bahiya will face a reckoning beyond their own understanding and realize that sometimes love is a crime…
We previewed the third episode of the series, focusing on Cierra, a fascinating co-star character which threw us into a brilliant and suspenseful story of friendship and action. The tension that captures the viewer is built mostly by playing on a complex system of puzzles and riddles, of escapes and seductions, lies and challenges.
Each character, characterized as a stunted gang member, represents a value and contributes to the fresco of a group of “good guys” for whom even the body of law has a soft spot, against the backdrop of an Atlanta already known for news events, but the whose more vital side is allowed to be discovered in this dream of redemption.
A redemption that is possible only through trust, which is born among the outcasts, in a world much more hostile than them.
